The Peasant Princess

As some of you know, last year, I did my own study on the Songs of Songs during the prayer and fasting period that our church had. But, it didn’t end there. I still had some questions, yearning deeper to understand the strange language it had.

My quest to understand the Songs of Solomon came very fruitful lately. I have been following a study taught by Ps. Mark Driscoll in Marshill Church. The first thing that came to my mind was “What strange name (church name) they had!”. But after digging up some information on him and his church, for me, he seemed to be reliable source that can be trusted.

Mark Driscoll is not only a pastor but also an author, who wrote books like Vintage Jesus, Radical Reformation, On the Old Testament and many more

I followed his series on youtube, which took me nearly two and a half months to finish. I thought it will be good to share, and hence this write-up.

He taught about a biblical marriage, boys becoming man, girls learning how to be walls rather than doors, having a servant relationship in marriage and many relational issues that are Biblical and after two whole months of listening to that, I find that it was a very practical teaching – something which I can carry along with me, a life which I can pursue to glorify God.

If you have the time, take a study on this book with him (Ps. Mark) and I hope that it will teach and enrich you, as it had been for me.
